Lidl | Community Works Campaign

We were delighted to work with our client, Lidl, on their Community Works Sport for Good brand identity and communications campaign.
Lidl Community Works Sport for Good is a statement of Lidl’s responsibility to local children. One in four local young people struggle with their mental health and that’s something they want to change. Participating in sports can help improve children’s social skills, self-esteem, body confidence and ability to deal with peer pressure. That’s why the Lidl Community Works Sport for Good programme is investing £160,000 into local youth sports clubs. Lidl are helping kids celebrate the Lidl wins today, because tomorrow they’ll make a big difference.
To answer the brief, we developed an impactful and coherent brand identity, concept and messaging for Lidl Community Works. The design is clean and colourful; punchy headlines complement emotive photography. The objectives of the campaign were two-fold; to educate customers about the goals of Lidl Community Works and encourage them to nominate their local youth sports club to win free equipment.
The campaign ran on social media, digital, press and in-store formats.
