Translink has enhanced their North West rail timetable offering. Additional services increase departure frequency to an hourly service Monday to Saturday on the Derry~Londonderry to Coleraine line section, through to Belfast, making it easier and more attractive for people to choose to travel by rail.
Our split screen creative showcases landmarks in Belfast and Derry~Londonderry, focusing on iconic clock faces to highlight the “hourly”. Leading with a clear headline ‘Train between Derry~Londonderry and Belfast now every hour', the creative encourages people to stay connected with the new hourly timetable by visiting the Translink website.
Our campaign ran on outdoor, digital, press and radio formats, targeted to the Derry~Londonderry-Coleraine-Belfast line, from July to September. Supported by innovative social media activity including a fun, attention-grabbing video of how differently the word ‘hour’ is pronounced across Northern Ireland, the campaign sought to raise awareness of the increased services.
