Rail Safety is of utmost importance to Translink both on the tracks and off; and while Translink has an excellent safety record, there is a requirement to have an ongoing communications programme to keep the general public aware of the dangers that do exist. We were delighted to work with Translink for another consecutive year in delivering this.
Our engaging creative is designed to target both pedestrians and motorists. Illustrated and informative, the creative promotes ways to stay safe around platforms, trains, on/near railway tracks and safe use of railway crossings.
Our activity was planned to run in close proximity of stations / rail areas of concern around Northern Ireland with the aim of achieving high visibility to the pre-defined audiences as well as the wider NI public. Running on outdoor, digital, radio and in-station, the campaign was designed to appeal to younger audiences with the use of Social Media and the hashtag #RailSafety.
