Party in the Park attracts thousands of partygoers every year and is one of the most hotly anticipated events in Surrey, promoting equality, diversity and unity across the borough.
We had the pleasure of working closely with our Client, Woking Borough Council, at this outdoor extravaganza as locals and visitors marked the centenaries of the end of World War One and the victory won by women in achieving the right to vote for the first time. On behalf of #WeAreWoking, we designed a 'Thought Box' where visitors could record a video and tell us what Woking means to them! Check it out below.
With crowds pouring in to soak up the fun, everyone enjoyed performances from the Military Wives Choir, Windsor, Gordon's School Pipes and Drums, Woking Veterans and even a guest appearance by Joey from the National Theatre stage show, War Horse. Woking proved that it knows how to throw a party that would make the town's ancestors proud!
