Picture the scene: an unassuming ostrich stumbles upon and gets stuck in a Gear VR headset, which happens to be playing a flight stimulator. Throw in Elton John’s ‘Rocket Man’ as the theme tune and some emotional key changes… you can’t help but feel inspired.

The best thing about the amazingly simple ad, is that it doesn’t follow the norm of the usual tech ads. There’s no mention of its endless features or a big focus on price; just our flightless friend dreaming and achieving the impossible.

With no voiceover or text used except for the end frame using the hashtag #DoWhatYouCant, audiences simply see the magic and the potential on the Samsung VR Gear. Currently flying at 13.5 million YouTube views, could this be the greatest Samsung ad yet?
