We were delighted to work with InterTradeIreland in promoting their Horizon 2020 (H2020) programme. The H2020 initiative helps businesses both sides of the border to collaborate better, find partners and network at events across Europe with research and innovation support and travel vouchers. The ultimate aim of the scheme is boosting growth across Europe.
Our activity aimed to increase awareness of the scheme, drive interested parties to the website and generate enquiries / applications from a niche audience of researchers based in academic institutes as well as non-government, voluntary and community organisations.
Our creative had to appeal to this niche audience and convey a lot of information whilst being flexible enough to be adapted over time. To tie in with the travel theme of the programme and present a lot of information in an easily digestible way, we developed a creative that looked like an airport information sign. Using imagery that would appeal to our audience, the creative was adaptable enough to work for both generic awareness and event-specific ads.
To promote the scheme, we ran heavily targeted digital activity on display programmatic platforms as well as relevant social media sites. Supported by remarketing, our campaign delivered on the objectives outlined at the start of the project.
