Queensberry Real Estate are considered one of the UK's leading urban regeneration specialists, having delivered over 1.5M square foot of mixed use space over the last seven years. This has included three major shopping centres and 300 residential units. Queensberry have been a longstanding client of Ardmore and in the summer of 2014 we were commissioned to design and develop their new corporate website.
The previous Queensberry website served its purpose well, showcasing the company’s impressive photography and their undeniable scale extremely well. As technology has advanced, and users’ methods of accessing websites changed, Queensberry and Ardmore recognized the need to accommodate the tastes and usage behaviours of those users. We all kept that front of mind when planning our approach. For a company as forward thinking and clear-cut as Queensberry, this shift in usage patterns was to be respected and reflected in their online presence.
The solution was to develop the site with a mobile first approach, meaning we develop the site to work on smaller devices first and foremost, and add greater levels of detail or design as is appropriate for larger or more powerful devices. The result is a website that is fully responsive to the device used to view it, as well as integrated with a content management system that allows Queensberry to stay on top of their news and content in real time.
The website went live in September 2014 and can be found at www.queensberryrealestate.com
