Dedicated to giving back to the local community, SUBWAY Ireland hosted the Helping Hearts™ Family 5k for another year running (no pun intended!).
With hundreds of people, young and old, crossing the finish line at Ormeau Park, Belfast, this event returned even bigger & better than last year, with all sponsorship money going to two very worthy causes: Heart Research UK and SUBWAY Healthy Heart Grant Scheme!
To drive sign-ups ahead of the event, we worked with our Client to create a strong radio strategy across the Northern Ireland region. Utilising radio stings, pre-promos, and a Cool FM roadshow hosted by Pete Snodden who encouraged the crowds to get involved, there were competition giveaways and live music to keep everyone entertained.
This was the perfect summer day out for the whole family with bouncy castles, face painting, an appearance from SUBWAY's mascot, SUBMAN - and even a FREE Subway lunch for every participant!
In conjunction with SUBWAY National, this campaign was rolled out across the various channels including radio, press and social.
We were delighted to play a part in this fantastic day, helping to raise funds for these superb charities. Well done to all involved!
